Recovery Fund Within the framework of the Operational Programme “Latvia's Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Plan 1.2 Reform and investment axis “Improving energy efficiency” 1.2.1.2.i. investment “Improving energy efficiency in business (including transition to renewable energy technologies in heating and research and development activities (including bioeconomy))” 1.2.1.2.i.2. measure “Development of innovative products and technologies” MASOC KC Ltd is implementing project No 1.2.1.2.i.2/1/24/A/CFLA/008 “MASOC KC support for green product development” from 12 July 2024 to 31 December 2027.
Within the project “MASOC KC support for the development of green products”, Good Steel Ltd and MEAT PROCESSING COMPANY NAKOTNE Ltd will start on 1 April 2026 the implementation of research project No Z.1.6 “Development and validation of automated smoking screen and mould washing technology for the food processing industry”.
The aim of the research project is to develop a technologically efficient, resource-optimised and food safety compliant prototype of a smoking screen and mould washing machine that will ensure a high quality, uniform, repeatable and controllable washing process.
The research project is scheduled to run until 30 September 2027. The total cost of the research project is estimated at EUR 469 050.00, including EUR 273 685.00 from the European Union's Recovery Fund.
